Watercolor – Mailbox

This painting is another one from Matthew Palmer’s online workshops. It was a lot of fun to do but I did have trouble with depth as well as creating clean lines on the letters (on the mailbox). You can find more information on Matthew at his website: www dot watercolour dot tv.

Materials used:

Paper: Arches 140 LB Hot Pressed

Paint: Holbein watercolors (the colors used are show in an image below)

Brushes: Silver Black Velvet (variety of sizes but mainly 4, 6, 8, and 10)

Masking Fluid: Winsor & Newton Art Masking Fluid
