Watercolor – The Birches & Old Rusty Mailbox

Old Rusty Mailbox watercolor

As you can see, there are two paintings this week. Yay?! Anyway, these two came out ok, so I thought I’d share them here. I actually like the mailbox more, but ya know, it’s all for the fun of it and to relax with something I enjoy doing.

They were both (technically, all three) painted on 140 lb watercolor paper with Holbein watercolors and Silver Black Velvet limited brushes.  The colors I used for the Birches, is shown below; and for the mailbox, I simply used the paints already on my palette.

If you create artwork or watercolors in particular, please leave a note and to also share your work.

Disclaimer: I am still learning this craft and often refer to amazing artists who offer tutorials on YouTube. These images are from RK Mcguire (check out his works).
