My absence this past week (from the blog) has been for personal reasons that relate to the poor health of our little dog. And now it is with a heavy heart that I share this news.
Serendipity, our beautiful papillon, passed away earlier today. She’d been very ill for a year with a rapid decline starting last October, followed by a drastic change in February. She was 13 years old (and actually three weeks shy of turning 14). Serendipity lives on in our hearts & may she rest in peace.
As for the blog, I’m sure you’ll understand when I say that I’ll be absent for a little bit longer as I grieve and process everything. But know that I will be back; and until then, may your days find light, your heart some love, and your mind some humor.
